United Airlines has boosted capacity on its Chicago O’Hare–Dublin route for the Summer 2026 season, deploying larger Boeing 787 variants on selected rotations in response to peak seasonal demand.
According to Flightradar24 data, the carrier has operated daily flight UA980/981 using both the four-class, 257-seat Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and the three-class, 318-seat Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner on selective dates, replacing the standard three-class, 243-seat Boeing 787-8.
Aircraft recorded operating services included Boeing 787-10s N14001 (9 and 19 May), N12021 (20 May and 8 June), N26910 (19 July) and N17015 (20 July), together with Boeing 787-9 N28987 (21 and 22 June).
