Aer Lingus has extended its Dublin–Miami International Airport (MIA) service into the Winter 2026/27 season, strengthening transatlantic connectivity between Ireland and South Florida. The extended seasonal operation runs from 25 October 2026 to 30 April 2027, with three weekly flights operating on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The route is served by the airline’s two-class Airbus A330-300 fleet, configured with 317 seats.
The first flight of the extended winter season operated on 25 October 2026, with Airbus A330-302 EI-FNG (MSN 1742) operating the inaugural service. The extension follows a milestone celebrated on 1 September 2026, when Aer Lingus and Miami International Airport marked nine years of connectivity between Dublin and Miami, underlining the importance of the route in linking Ireland with one of Florida’s principal international gateways.
A key differentiator for the service is Dublin Airport’s US preclearance facility. Dublin is MIA’s only transatlantic destination offering this arrangement, enabling Aer Lingus passengers to complete US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) immigration and customs formalities before departing Ireland. On arrival in Miami, passengers therefore enter the United States as domestic arrivals, streamlining the onward travel experience.
