Irish ultra-low-cost carrier Ryanair will significantly ramp up capacity on its Dublin–Newcastle route from the start of the Winter 2025/26 season, increasing frequencies from nine to 13 flights per week.
The increased service represents a 44% rise in weekly frequencies compared to the Summer 2025 schedule and reflects Ryanair’s continued focus on strengthening UK–Ireland connectivity through its growing regional bases.
Effective 31 October 2025, the route will see up to three daily flights on peak days, including Mondays and Saturdays, as part of a broader expansion at the airline’s Newcastle base.
The carrier will operate the enhanced schedule using a combination of Dublin- and Newcastle-based aircraft, including both the 189-seat Boeing 737-800 and the higher-capacity 198-seat Boeing 737-8200 “Gamechanger”. The latter offers improved fuel efficiency and lower CO₂ and noise emissions per seat.
