Ryanair launched its largest ever summer 2025 flight schedule for Wrocław, featuring its 9th based aircraft , deploying six on scheduled services and three on charter services, including one new Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 “Gamechanger” aircraft operating 46 routes, including three new routes to Lamezia Terme, Pescara and Rijeka.

Buzz CEO Michal Kaczmarzyk, said “In the upcoming summer season, we will strengthen our position as the largest carrier operating from Wrocław. Our operational base in Wrocław will increase to 9 aircraft, serviced by over 300 crew members. It will be the second largest Ryanair base in Poland after Kraków. We are the only carrier that provides a comprehensive offer of scheduled flights and charters for travel agencies. Our development in Wrocław means not only a wide range of flights and hundreds of jobs, but also the location of the largest investment of the Ryanair Group in Central Europe – a hangar and technical centre for aircraft servicing.”

Ryanair Labs , the technology wing of Ryanair, a start-up inside a corporation, opened a new state of-the-art digital & IT innovation hub in Wrocław in 2016, employing 250 staff, working on 30+ projects with a collaboration with Dublin, Madrid and Portugal Labs.

In 2015 Ryanair established subsidiary Wroclaw Aircraft Maintenance Services (WAMS). In 2014 Ryanair invested €25 million, doubling its aircraft servicing capacity to four aircraft simultaneously  creating 300 new jobs, bringing the total workforce to 550, providing base maintenance of Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-8200 aircraft for Ryanair.
