Aer Lingus Regional, exclusively operated by Emerald Airlines, commenced a new seasonal service between Dublin Airport and Tours Val de Loire Airport on Saturday, 6 June, further expanding its French summer network. The inaugural flight, EIN3900/3901, was operated by ATR72-600 aircraft EI-HPJ (msn 1181). The new route will operate once weekly through to 29 August, targeting leisure traffic between Ireland and France’s Loire Valley region during the peak summer season.
The launch strengthens Aer Lingus Regional’s growing presence in the French regional market. The carrier’s summer programme also includes weekly Saturday services from Dublin to Brest and Rennes, both operating from 6 June until 29 August with 72 seat ATR72-600 aircraft.
