Aer Lingus Regional, exclusively operated by Emerald Airlines, increasing its Dublin to Inverness service from two to four flights a weekly, effective from 25 September to 26 October 2026. The service will operate twice weekly during winter season. The increased four-times-weekly service will return from 14 March 2027.
The increased frequency comes as the Inverness-Dublin route continues to develop following its launch, providing a direct link between the Highlands and Ireland’s capital for leisure, business and visiting friends and family and onward connectivity to North America via Dublin hub.
Emerald Airlines Head of Commercial Ian Lough, said “We are delighted to be adding even more fights to our Inverness to Dublin service. Since commencing, the route has been warmly welcomed by customers on both sides of the Irish Sea. The additional flights will provide even greater convenience for customers, along with excellent onward connectivity to North America through the wider Aer Lingus network.”
Inverness Airport Manager Dan Mason, said “We’re delighted to see the Inverness to Dublin service increase to four flights a week, giving passengers even more choice and flexibility when travelling between the Highlands and Ireland. The additional frequency will also provide more opportunities for customers to connect onwards through Dublin, including to destinations across North America. It’s great to see the route continuing to develop since its launch.”
