Dubai-based low-cost carrier flydubai has taken delivery of A6-FPJ (MSN 60988), between 5 and 7 June 2026, routing from Boeing Field in Seattle via Shannon Airport in Ireland before arriving at Dubai International Airport (DXB).

The addition of A6-FPJ brings flydubai’s Boeing 737-8 MAX fleet to 69 aircraft. The carrier’s overall fleet now stands at 98 aircraft, reinforcing its position as one of the region’s fastest-growing airlines. flydubai also has a substantial order book, with 144 additional Boeing 737 aircraft scheduled for future delivery.

flydubai marked its 17th anniversary on 1 June 2026. Since launching its first commercial service to Beirut in 2009, the Dubai-based carrier has expanded significantly, carrying more than 140 million passengers and building a network that now spans approximately 100 destinations across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Europe. The carrier plans to take delivery in second half of 2026 a further 12 new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
