German aviation website Skyliner Aviation reports VT-TGG Boeing 737-8AL (msn 39065) Air India Express ferried to Shannon from Larnaca 13 August 2026 on return to lessor Macquarie Airfinance. The aircraft was re-registered 2-AOIF on 26 August.

According to Planespotters.net VT-TGG made first flight in April 2014 and delivered to Jet Airways same moth and in 2019 was operated by Vistara and in 2023 the aircraft operated by Air India Express was painted in “Dil-Luminati Tour India” special colours in 2024.
Sistership VT-TGH made first flight May 2014 and delivered to Jet Airways in June 2014 and by Vistara in 2019 and Air India Express in 2023. Both aircraft are listed as stored Shannon Airport.
