Canadian carrier WestJet commenced a new monthly series of charter flights from Belfast International to St John’s, Newfoundland with final destination Toronto, effective from 13 February using two class 174 seat Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

The charter is presumably operated by behalf of a Canadian or Northern Ireland client. According to Flightradar24 to date five flights have operated C-GIWJ 13 February, C-GZSG 12 March, C-GFJD 9 April, C-GRAX 7 May and C-GEHF 4 June.
