Suzanne Boda, senior vice president, Airport Customer Service, International and Cargo for US Airways, is scheduled to give the keynote address ‘Scoping, Selecting and Maintaining an Airline Route US Airways Decision Making Process’ at Shannon Chamber’s spring lunch, hosted by Chamber president, Kevin Thompstone, sponsored by GECAS and co-sponsored by Shannon Airport Authority. The lunch will be held at Dromoland Castle Hotel on Tuesday, 16 April.
Making the announcement in Shannon today, Kevin Thompstone said “Shannon Chamber is delighted that Ms. Boda has agreed to address chamber members and their business associates. With the increasing emphasis on securing new airlines and new routes for Shannon, it is important to understand the drivers that make an airport attractive to an airline.
With responsibility for overseeing US Airways’ international operations, Ms. Boda will offer insight into the US Airways product and why the airline chose Shannon, a topic which will be of immense interest to those in the Shannon region.”
US Airways Senior Vice President, Airport Customer Service, International and Cargo Suzanne Boda said “US Airways is thrilled to be back in Shannon this summer with non-stop service to our Philadelphia hub. Ireland is a very popular destination for our customers and we look forward to adding Shannon back to our route map supplementing existing daily, year-round service between Philadelphia and Dublin. “

Suzanne Boda is US Airways’ senior vice president, Airport Customer Service, International and Cargo. Ms. Boda oversees the airline’s hubs in Philadelphia, Charlotte, N.C., and Washington D.C., and is responsible for the carriers international and cargo operations.
US Airways will commence its seasonal daily flights from Shannon to Philadelphia in May after a four year absence. From 2003 – 2009, the airline carried over 315,000 passengers through Shannon Airport and the new service is expected to generate an additional 30,000 passengers through the airport this year.
