United Airlines recommences Chicago O'Hare-Dublin service - IrishAero - Irish Aviation Research Institute

US Network Carrier United Airlines resumed its very popular Chicago O’Hare to Dublin service effective from 3 May to 26 October 2024. The service operates under flight number UAL980/1 on an daily frequency using two class 174 seat Boeing 757-200(ER) aircraft.

According to Flightradar24 data the Boeing 757-200 is integrated with United’s existing Dublin second daily service schedule to Newark UAL317/6.

United Airlines operates 500 daily departures from its Chicago O’Hare hub the most comprehensive global route network among North American carriers serving 200 + destinations from Chicago O’Hare and is now the largest airline in the world as measured by available seat miles. United is currently flying its new Airbus A321neo aircraft between Chicago and Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Orlando, Phoenix and Fort Myers.
