Irish budget airline Ryanair has resumed its seasonal service between Ireland West Airport (Knock) and Cologne Bonn Airport, with flights operating twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays, from 1 June through 28 September 2025. Ryanair will deploy a mix of 189-seat Boeing 737-800s and the newer, higher-capacity 197-seat Boeing 737-8200 “Gamechanger” aircraft on the route.

The inaugural flight of the season was operated by EI-IHO, a Boeing 737-8200 (MSN 67088), which departed Ireland West Airport on 1 June, marking the return of the popular service that links the west of Ireland with one of Germany’s key economic and cultural centres and for inbound tourists for Wild Atlantic Way.
