Icelandair operated a one-time Keflavik to Dublin service on 12 January 2025 using TF-FIU Boeing 757-256 msn 26243 operating ICE416/7 in a two class 183 seat configuration, arriving 1006 and departing 1145 (local time) painted in Aurora Borealis Livery. As of 18 January 2025 Icelandair operates a fleet of 13 Boeing 757-200/300 aircraft with 3 listed as parked according to Planespotters.net.

The carrier phased its two Boeing 757-300 aircraft on 31 October and signed lease agreements for seven Airbus A321LR aircraft for delivery in 2025 and 2026 to replace its Boeing 757-200 fleet. In 2023 Icelandair concluded a historic purchase agreement with Airbus for 13 A321XLR, long range single aisle aircraft, with purchase rights for 12 more, scheduled for delivery from 2029.
