Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair is set to expand its presence at Göteborg Landvetter Airport for winter 2025, launching two new routes. The airline will begin twice-weekly flights to Porto (OPO) from 26 October and to Malta (MLA) from 28 October. Both routes will be operated using 189-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft, further strengthening Ryanair’s network from western Sweden.
Swedavia Director Aviation Business Elizabeth Axtelius, said “I’m delighted that Ryanair is expanding at Göteborg Landvetter Airport. Ryanair’s investment in new direct routes shows great confidence in the Swedish air travel market, and they are an important partner in us being able to offer a wide range of destinations at our airports. Our main goal is to increase the connectivity and facilitates for people to meet, whether it is for business, leisure or to visit family and friends.”
