At the CAPA Airline Leader Summit World 2024 held in Belgrade in November, Jochen Schnadt, CEO of FLY4 Airlines, revealed the airline’s ambitious growth strategy, aiming to expand its fleet from its current four Boeing 737-800 aircraft to a fleet of 25 within the next five years.
“We need to get to critical mass,” Schnadt stated, emphasizing that the scale of operations plays a significant role in airline efficiency. “As you know, whether you operate one aircraft or 20, it pretty much takes the same effort and the same overhead. So we want to get to that critical mass as quickly as possible.”
