Emirates has expanded its operations to Ireland with the launch of a third daily service between Dubai International (DXB) and Dublin (DUB), commencing Sunday, 26 October. The new frequency increases the carrier’s offering to 21 weekly flights this winter season, enhancing connectivity and flexibility for passengers and exporters on the busy Dubai–Dublin route.
The inaugural flight was operated by A6-ECJ, a Boeing 777-31H(ER) (msn 35583). The new Emirates service utilizes a 358 seat Boeing 777 in a three-class configuration featuring 8 First Class suites, 42 Business Class lie-flat seats, and 304 Economy Class seats.
The new flight, EK165, departs DXB at 0210, arriving in Dublin at 0625, providing an early morning arrival into the Irish capital. The return service, EK166, departs Dublin at 0825, landing in DXB at 2000, offering convenient evening connections across Emirates’ global network.
The introduction of the third daily service gives Irish travellers a choice of morning, afternoon, and evening departures, while providing exporters with greater cargo capacity and improved schedule options. It also offers enhanced onward connectivity via Dubai to key destinations across Australia, India, Malaysia, the Middle East, South Africa, and Thailand.
