Emirates, the world’s leading airline, has unveiled plans to introduce a third daily non-stop flight between Dubai International (DXB) and Melbourne, beginning 30 March 2025. This new service will be operated by a newly retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER, featuring the airline’s award-winning Premium Economy cabin and the latest-generation Business Class seats, enhancing the travel experience for passengers.

The addition of this third daily flight will be using same number as current DXB-SIN-MEL route. The Singapore transit will be terminated.  Passengers will benefit from Emirates’ renowned connectivity, with seamless connections via Dubai to 27 major European cities, including Dublin, London, Paris, and Frankfurt, all served with multiple daily services.

Australia continues to be a popular destination for Irish travellers, with many families flying to Melbourne to visit relatives in 2024. Emirates now operates 77 weekly services to and from five Australian cities—Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide meeting the growing demand for international travel.
