Dublin Airport announced achievement of Level 4+ carbon accreditation under the internationally recognised Airport Carbon Accreditation programme, placing it among the top 13% of airports globally for carbon management.

daa Director of Sustainability Andrea Carroll, said “Achieving Level 4+ of Airport Carbon Accreditation is an important validation of the real progress being made at Dublin Airport. It reflects years of sustained effort by our teams and our partners and shows that ambitious climate targets can be matched by delivery on the ground. This achievement strengthens our commitment to responsible growth and to playing our part in addressing climate change.”

The certification, awarded by Airports Council International, is the second-highest level available and independently verifies the airport’s long-term commitment to reducing emissions in line with climate science targets.

The milestone reflects progress under daa’s ESG strategy, with the airport citing improvements in energy efficiency, emissions reduction initiatives and closer collaboration with airlines, ground handlers and on-site partners. Robust carbon data collection and targeted operational measures also supported the move to Level 4+.
