To further its UK expansion, particularly in Northern Ireland, Finnair has extended its codeshare with British Airways, a member of the oneworld alliance, to Belfast City.

Finnair Market Director Europe, Anssi Partanen said “Over the past few years, we have seen a growing demand for our flights to Helsinki and beyond from destinations across not only the UK, but also the Channel Islands and Gibraltar. Therefore, we are extremely excited to be expanding our codeshare with British Airways, to ensure customers travelling from across the country can enjoy seamless connectivity onto Finnair’s flights from London.”

In a move to boost its UK network, Finnair will now place its code on British Airways flights connecting London Heathrow with Aberdeen, Belfast City, Gibraltar, Inverness, Jersey, Manchester, and Newcastle. This expansion of the existing codeshare agreement will provide Finnair customers with enhanced travel options to Finland and other global destinations.

Finnair operates Helsinki to London Heathrow six times daily.
