ASL Airlines Ireland added EI-HRE Boeing 737-86J(BDSF) msm 30499 for operations with DHL Aviation. The aircraft was formerly operated by US charter airline iAero Airways as N471BS and ferried Marana-Bangor-Keflavik-Shannon on 29-30 November 2024.
The Boeing 737-800BDSF is valued for its advanced avionics, improved performance, lower fuel consumption, and reduced maintenance costs. According to Planespotters, the aircraft first flew on May 11, 2000, and was originally delivered to Air Berlin (D-ABAY) on May 28, 2000. In 2021, the aircraft underwent a cargo conversion at IAI Tel Aviv, re-registered as N471BS for DHL Holdings.
The aircraft positioned from Shannon to Leipzig on 13 January as ABR771, entering service on 16 January to Ljubljana (LJU) using flight number ABR4852/3.
