Aer Lingus operated a one-time Dublin-Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport service on Saturday 30 May 2026, using two-class, 184-seat Airbus A321-253NY(XLR) registered EI-XLW (msn 12463). EIN4129 departed Dublin 1619 arriving Montreal at 1733 local. EIN4128 departed Montreal at 1930 arriving Dublin next day at 0617 local.
The aircraft operated a Dublin-Montreal charter for Republic of Ireland Vs Canada at the Saputo Stadium on Friday, 5 June 2026 as Canada finished their preparations for the FIFA World Cup (WC).
Aer Lingus previously planned to launch a daily A321LR Dublin-Montreal route in 2019 connecting regional France (Bordeaux, Lyon, Nantes, Nice, Paris CDG and Toulouse) to Montreal via Dublin Airport. The Canadian city has a large French community. The route never materialized due to aircraft delivery delays and global covid pandemic in 2020.
