Aer Lingus Airbus A330-200

Aer Lingus Airbus A330-202 EI-LAX construction number 269 departed Dublin Airport for Stockholm Arlanda as NVR9001 on Friday 29th November at 0630 local to commence a winter lease to Novair. The aircraft operated its first revenue service  on Sunday 1st December as NVR9721 from Stockholm Arlanda to Cancun.

EI-DAA Airbus A330-202 construction number 397 is a stand-by aircraft for Nova Airlines AB (Novair) contract.

In April Aer Lingus announced it agreed to operate an Airbus A330-200 wide-body on ACMI (aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance) terms on behalf of Nova Airlines AB (Novair) part of Apollo Group for the next two winters, with an option for a third.

The aircraft operates from Copenhagen, Gothenburg-Landvetter, Oslo-Gardermoen, Stockholm Arlanda, to Dominican Republic, Mexico, Cuba and Tobago in the Caribbean.

The tour operator Apollo is part of a Swiss travel group Kuoni. In Scandinavia, the activities organized under the name Kuoni Nordic, and besides Apollo includes, among other things, its sister company, Nova Airlines AB (Novair), a charter company that mainly flies to the Group’s tour operators. aircraft capacity is limited to three aircraft to Airbus A321-200 used primarily to destinations in the Mediterranean.
