Aer Lingus Regional, operated by Emerald Airlines, has launched its largest-ever summer schedule from George Best Belfast City Airport, offering more than 750,000 seats , a 25% year-on-year increase as the carrier ramps up frequencies to meet demand. The expanded programme includes up to seven daily flights to Birmingham, up to four daily services to both Southampton and Edinburgh, and up to two daily flights to Glasgow.
The airline will also operate weekly services to Exeter and Newquay, while increasing frequencies on its Manchester route to four daily flights. Capacity on the East Midlands route has increased to a daily service, with the service now operating seven times weekly.
