Ryanair has closed 2025 with record traffic, carrying 206.5 million passengers in the rolling 12 months to December, a 5% increase compared with 2024. The Irish low-cost carrier reported an average load factor of 94%, underlining continued demand across its European network.
The Ryanair Group operated a fleet of 646 aircraft as of 31 December 2025, spread across its five subsidiaries: Ryanair DAC (348 aircraft), Malta Air (179), Buzz (78), Lauda Europe (26) and Ryanair UK (15).

During 2025, the group took delivery of 34 new Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 “Gamechanger” aircraft, including the first aircraft allocated to Ryanair UK. This brought the group’s total MAX fleet to 206 aircraft by year-end.

Operational data from Eurocontrol further highlighted Ryanair’s market leadership. Key figures published on 6 January 2026 showed the Ryanair Group as Europe’s largest airline group by flights operated, with an average of 3,184 daily flights in 2025, representing a 5% increase year on year.
