Belfast City Airport and easyJet celebrated five years since the airline’s first flight from the heart of Belfast in July 2021. easyJet has carried over 2.5 million passengers to an established network of nine destinations, including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, London Gatwick, and Manchester and will launch a new route to London Southend in November.

Belfast City Airport Chief Commercial Officer Katy Best, said “As we celebrate five years of partnership with easyJet, we recognise the important role this collaboration has played in enhancing connectivity for our passengers and supporting the region’s economy. easyJet’s continued investment in Belfast City Airport is not only a testament to the success of our partnership, but also the strength of our fast, efficient service and excellent location, just five minutes from Belfast city centre. Looking ahead, we are excited to build on this relationship by strengthening links, expanding our offering and delivering even greater opportunities to meet the needs of our passengers.”

easyJet’s UK Country Manager, Kevin Doyle, said: “We’re delighted to reach five years of operations at Belfast City Airport, a period in which we’ve grown our presence and expanded choice for customers across Northern Ireland. We remain committed to offering customers in Northern Ireland great value fares and convenient connections, and with fares from £19.99 this summer, there has never been a better time to book with easyJet. We look forward to welcoming even more customers on board in the years ahead.”
