DAT Wet-Leases ATR72-600 to Emerald Airlines - IrishAero - Irish Aviation Research Institute

Danish regional airline DAT (Danish Air Transport) announced via its LinkedIn page that it will temporarily operate selected routes on behalf of Emerald Airlines between April 23 and June 6.

Under the agreement, DAT will deploy an ATR72-600 aircraft from a temporary base at Dublin Airport, operating scheduled flights to and from Bristol, Exeter, and Leeds. The carrier will also serve the Bristol–Cork–Bristol rotation during this period.

Operations will follow a weekly pattern: the aircraft will reposition to Dublin each Wednesday, operate scheduled services on Thursdays and Fridays, and return to its home base either Friday evening or Saturday morning.

The first operation was operated by OY-RUN ATR72-600 msn 1519.

DAT stated “This partnership represents a valuable opportunity for us to support additional ATR production with limited crew demands — a perfect lead-in to the busy summer season ahead. We look forward to a good collaboration.”
