On February 27, 2025, Emerald Airlines in an Linkedin post, celebrated its third anniversary since the inaugural Aer Lingus Regional service from Donegal to Dublin. Over the past three years, the airline has achieved remarkable success, operating more than 95,000 flights and carrying over 5.1 million passengers across its route network.
As the exclusive operator of the Aer Lingus Regional franchise, Emerald Airlines currently operates a fleet of 18 ATR 72-600 aircraft, flying on Irish and UK AOCs. The airline operates 30 routes from Belfast City and Dublin Airport and Cork to Bristol and Glasgow.
In addition to its regional services, Emerald Airlines also offers franchise, wet lease, and private charter solutions. The airline is set to expand its fleet, with plans to increase its ATR 72-600s to 20 aircraft later this year.
