Aer Lingus announced an expansion of its Dublin-Cleveland route using two class 184 seat Airbus A321LR aircraft, increasing from four to five round trips per week on 17 April 2025. During peak summer season services will increase again to six roundtrips per week from from 6 May 2025 during the peak summer season and will run until 25 October 2025.
In addition to the seasonal frequency increase, Aer Lingus plans to introduce year-round service between Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) and Dublin Airport (DUB) starting in 2026. The partnership between the airline and Cleveland Hopkins, initially set to expire in May 2026, will now be extended for an additional 18 months, lasting until December 2027.
Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne stated “Cuyahoga County is thrilled to see Aer Lingus service from Cleveland to Dublin, Ireland, extended through 2027. This continued partnership strengthens global relationships, boosts tourism, and creates new business opportunities, benefiting residents and businesses across Northeast Ohio.”
