Alicante Airport welcomed has announcement the continuation of Aer Lingus summer route between Alicante-Elche Airport and its hub in Dublin during the upcoming 2024-2025 winter season, commencing October 27, 2024. Alicante-Elche airport will gain Aer Lingus connectivity during the winter season for first time in five years.

The route will operate three weekly on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays , using 174 seat Airbus A320-200 aircraft, offering up to 4,500 seats per month during the months of January, December and March.

The carrier will discontinue service during the off-peak season, during the lowest demand period of the year, which runs from mid-January to late February.
