Ryanair has increased its planned Boeing 737 MAX 10 fleet ahead of Summer 2027, with an additional aircraft now expected to join the group’s fleet, bringing the total to 16 units ahead of the season. The Ryanair Group allocated five to Dublin base and ten to London Stansted base.

The update was disclosed in the airline group’s half-year results on Monday, 2 November. Deliveries of the 228-seat aircraft remain scheduled to begin following EASA certification by year end, with the first aircraft expected between late January and May 2027.

Ryanair Group CEO Michael O’Leary on Half Year Results earnings call stated “We’re really excited by the MAX 10 aircraft. These are going to be transformational. We only get the first 16. But any aircraft that has 20% more seats and burns 20% less fuel is going to transform our economics.”
