Irish budget carrier Ryanair announced a record Winter 2026 schedule for Sicily with 88 routes, including 17 new routes, delivering over 12.5m passengers p.a. (+9% growth) . The record Winter 2026 schedule is underpinned by Ryanair’s 11 based aircraft, including the addition of 2 new aircraft this Winter, one each in Catania and Palermo bases and the extension of Ryanair’s Trapani-Marsala base for the full Winter season.

As part of the expansion Ryanair will launch a new route between Catania (CTA) and Dublin (DUB) for summer 2027, from 28 March to 29 October 2027, operating four times weekly operated by a Dublin based Ryanair DAC Boeing 737.
