Transavia France commenced deployment of new 186 seat Airbus A320neo aircraft on the Paris Orly to Dublin route on ad-hoc basis in lieu of Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Two A320neo’s operated to date , F-HXSA msn 12027 on 21 August and F-HXSD msn 12197 on 28 August.

By the end of 2024, Transavia France expects to operate 13 Airbus A320neo aircraft, to progressively replace all of the 70 Boeing 737-800s in service by 2030.

The A320neo cabin features Airbus’ Airspace XL bins. The larger bins provide 40% more stowage space compared to conventional bins, for a more relaxed boarding. In addition, USB-C ports are available for passengers at each seat, and the latest lighting system.

The aircraft brings a 50% noise footprint reduction and 20% fuel savings and CO2 reduction compared to previous generation single-aisle aircraft, by incorporating new generation CFM International LEAP-1A engines and Sharklets.
