Shannon Airport Hosts Flydubai’s First 737 MAX Delivery of 2025 - IrishAero - Irish Aviation Research Institute

flydubai took delivery of A6-FQE Boeing 737-8 MAX (msn 61027) through Shannon Airport 5 April 2025, routing nonstop from Boeing Field to Shannon nightstoping routing next day direct to Dubai International.

This aircraft is the first flydubai 737 MAX aircraft to be delivered through Shannon this year. Last year four aircraft delivered through Shannon, registered A6-FQA (msn 61017) 21 February, A6-FQB (msn 61030) 17 January, A6-FQC (msn 61015) 18 May, A6-FQD (msn 61038) 20 June.

flydubai is the largest operator of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft in the Middle East and GCC. At Dubai Air Show 2023, commitment to purchase 30 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners as the airline diversifies its fleet with the introduction of wide-body aircraft and is awaiting delivery of a further 126 Boeing 737-8s to be delivered over the next decade.
