Liverpool John Lennon Airport announced on its social media channels Irish Low cost carrier Ryanair will boost capacity from its Liverpool base to Cork & Ireland West Airport routes for Summer 2026, increasing frequency to daily and 10 times weekly respectively operating double daily services on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

On 4 December 2025, Ryanair announced a sixth based aircraft at Liverpool John Lennon Airport for Summer 2026. This aircraft will deliver +250,000 additional seats and three new routes to Marrakesh, Tirana, and Warsaw, and extra flights on 11 popular existing routes.
