Irish budget carrier Ryanair Inaugurated its 19th Italian base in Trieste (TRS), Italy with a $100 million investment basing one Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 ‘Gamechanger’ expanding network to a total of 18 routes adding seven new routes to Berlin, Brindisi, Budapest, Krakow, Olbia, Paris Beauvais and Seville.

Ryanair’s €100m investment in Friuli Venezia Giulia (FVG) has been made possible as a result of the landmark decision by the region to eliminate the municipal tax on departing passengers, will create 600 local jobs, forecasting a 50% growth in traffic and approximately 750,000 passengers.

9H-VVP Boeing 737-8-200 msn 62334 Malta Air positioned Milan (BGY) to Trieste (TRS) 16 April as RYR600 commencing base operations next day operating first service to Valencia (VLC) as RYR618/7.

Ryanair operates Dublin to Trieste twice weekly using a mix of Trieste based Boeing 737-8-200 on Tuesdays and Dublin based Boeing 737-800 on Saturdays until 26 October 2024.
