The Ryanair Group took delivery of seven new Boeing 737-8200 aircraft in January increasing fleet to a total of 48 units. The aircraft where delivered Boeing Field to Dublin for post delivery modifications prior entry to service.
Three aircraft where delivered to Polish subsidiary Buzz in full Ryanair colours based in Budapest, Hungary and three to Ryanair DAC Ireland.
On Ryanair’s Q3 investor Q&A on Monday 31st January Ryanair Group CFO Neil Sorahan stated the group will operate a total of 65 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft for Summer 2022 with a further 18 aircraft to be delivered up to April, at a rate of six per month. The CFO stated the aircraft where delivering better than 16% fuel burn performance expected.
