Ryanair Group took delivery of 172nd Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 ‘Gamechanger’ aircraft as of 31 October 2024, the aircraft EI-IKN msn 62383, with a further 38 aircraft to be delivered from its 210 order book.
Since 1st January 2024 Ryanair Group has added 35 new Boeing 737 MAX Aircraft.
The group operates 609 aircraft as of 31 October 2024 according to Planespotters.net
Dublin based Ryanair DAC remains as the largest MAX operator within the group operating 115 aircraft followed by Malta Air at 43 aircraft and Buzz at 14 aircraft.
The Ryanair Group announcing on FY25 half-year results stated “We now expect our remaining 9 Q3 deliveries to slip into Q4 due to recent Boeing strikes. While we continue to work with Boeing leadership to accelerate aircraft deliveries ahead of peak S.25, the risk of further delivery delays remains high.
We believe it is therefore sensible to moderate Ryanair’s FY26 traffic growth target to 210m passengers (previously 215m) to reflect these delivery delays, as we wish to avoid being over-scheduled, over-crewed and over costed as we were in S.24.”
