Ryanair has announced its launching four new routes from Katowice for Summer 2013 including Alicante weekly and Girona twice weekly commencing 1st April and Chania weekly from 6th April and Edinburgh twice weekly from 31st March delivering 400,000 passengers operating 60 weekly flights up 60% and 9 routes up 44%.
Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary said “Ryanair is delighted to announce the launch of the summer season 2013 in Katowice, including 4 new routes to Alicante, Barcelona, Edinburgh and Crete, which will bring 400,000 passengers transported per year, translating into about 400 * jobs” on the spot “in Katowice . Ryanair’s new routes from Katowice contribute to the development of tourism in Poland. “
Katowice is a city in Silesia in southern Poland, on the Kłodnica and Rawa rivers , located in the Silesian Highlands. Katowice is the center of science, culture, industry, business and transportation in southern Poland.
Ryanair operates Dublin to Katowice twice weekly increasing to three times weekly for Summer 2013 from 9th March.
