Ryanair adds Cork-Rome Fiumicino rugby flights - IrishAero - Irish Aviation Research Institute

Ryanair has unveiled a special one-off flight service between Cork and Rome to accommodate rugby fans heading to the Ireland vs Italy Six Nations Championship match.

The flight will operate on Friday, March 14th, 2025, with RYR5854 departing Cork at 08:45, arriving at Rome Fiumicino at 12:40. The return flight will be on Sunday, March 16th, with RYR5853 leaving Rome at 08:20, landing back in Cork at 10:40.

This service will be particularly popular among Munster supporters making their way to the Stadio Olimpico for the eagerly awaited Ireland-Italy fixture on Saturday, March 15th, with kick-off at 14:15.
