Dublin Airport saw a notable uptick in 737 deliveries this week, hosting two separate Boeing 737 MAX delivery movements bound for Africa and Türkiye. First to arrive was ET-BAP, a Boeing 737-8 MAX (c/n 62463) for Ethiopian Airlines. The aircraft route directly from Boeing Field to Dublin between 13–15 February, with nightstop before continuing onward to Addis Ababa (ADD).

Later in the week, TC-OHU (c/n 62937), another Boeing 737-8 MAX, transited Dublin en route to Türkiye. The aircraft, destined for AJet a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines Group, routed 18–19 February from Boeing Field via Dublin to Istanbul. This is second AJet 737 MAX delivery via Dublin proceeded by sistership TC-OHT on 17-18 January.

Dublin Airport’s geographic position on the western edge of Europe, combined with established technical handling expertise, and congestion free airspace continues to make it a strategic transit point for Boeing 737s heading to operators across Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
