Malta Air a subsidiary of the Ryanair Group Boeing 737 fleet expanded to 167 aircraft during 2023, adding eight aircraft through a mix direct new Boeing 737 MAX deliveries and Boeing 737NG transfers from Ryanair DAC . The carrier is operating 131 Boeing 737-800 and 36 Boeing 737-8200 MAX aircraft as of 24 December.

The carrier recent added three Boeing 737NG on transfer from Ryanair DAC. Planespotters.net reported 9H-QFB Boeing 737-8AS msn 36075 formerly registered as EI-DWB on 24 November, 9H-QFE Boeing 737-8AS msn 37516 formerly EI-EBA and 9H-QFD Boeing 737-8AS msn 36077 previously EI-DWI.

New Boeing 737-8200 MAX Aircraft deliveries include 9H-VVM Boeing 737-8200 msn 67090 on 15 December,  9H-VVO Boeing 737-8200 msn 67101 on 1 November and 9H-VVL Boeing 737-8200 msn 62364 on 18 October. The three aircraft are painted in Ryanair colours.
