ITA Airways took delivery of its first Airbus A321neo-LR in the Star Alliance livery, bearing the registration EI-HXI (msn 13121), on September 9 from Hamburg-Finkenwerder (XFW) to ITA Airways’ hub at Rome Fiumicino (FCO) under callsign ITY1234. The The aircraft is configured with 165 seats in a three-classes: 12 Business Class seats, 12 Premium Economy seats and 141 Economy seats.
The A321LR’s are deployed from ITA’s Rome Fiumicino hub on domestic, medium and short-haul routes to Accra (ACC), Amsterdam (AMS), Athens (ATH), Barcelona (BCN), Brussels (BRU), Catania (CTA), Dakar (DSS), Frankfurt (FRA), London (LHR), Madrid (MAD), Paris (CDG) and Palermo (PMO).
