IndiGo connects Delhi to Dublin in partnership with Turkish Airlines - IrishAero - Irish Aviation Research Institute

IndiGo has announced the launch of new one-stop flights from Delhi to Dublin operating two daily flights via Istanbul, through an expanded codeshare partnership with Turkish Airlines commencing with immediate effect, expanded to include Belgium, Czech Republic,  Denmark, Greece , Hungary Israel, Netherlands and Ireland.

In a statement the carrier stated “The flights between India and these destinations have been launched in-line with IndiGo’s vision to enhance international connectivity” adding These new flights have been added in view of the increase in demand for outbound travel to Europe as air travel sees strong resurgence in 2023.”

The new IndiGo and Turkish Airlines expanded partnership will challenge the Gulf Carriers for connecting passenger flows from Delhi to Dublin, Ireland. The carrier damp leased a Boeing 777-300ER from Turkish Airlines with seating capacity of 400 passengers in a dual class configuration effective from 31st January operating services between Delhi and Istanbul. The carrier offers a convenient two to three hour connection time in Istanbul with 30KG baggage allowance.

IndiGo Head of Global Sales Vinay Malhotra, said “We have witnessed a strong demand for international travel and especially to Europe last year. These connecting flights will not only add capacity, but also provide convenient travel options for people looking to travel between India and Europe. We are confident that with the resurgence of international travel, these exciting options will offer people multiple choices for their travel this summer.”
