In a notable movement for Cork Airport, the return of the Hawker 800XP aircraft, SE-RLX (msn 258458), sparked considerable interest among the aviation community. The aircraft, operated by Grafair, touched down on 22 August 2024, marking its return to the airport after 16 years.

This particular Hawker 800XP was originally based at Cork from 2000 to 2008, where it operated under the EMC banner as N228TM, alongside its sistership N453TM. During that time, the aircraft was frequently seen at the now Weston Aviation Hangar, becoming a familiar sight at the airport.

Cork, Ireland’s second-largest city, is increasingly becoming an attractive destination for business jet traffic. With slot-free, 24/7 operations and a strategic location along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way, the airport serves as a principal international gateway to the southern region of Ireland. For all your handling requirements, Weston Aviation offers dedicated services to ensure seamless operations for business aviation.
