Fly4 Airlines Makes History with Maiden Flight to Zanzibar - IrishAero - Irish Aviation Research Institute

Fly4 Airlines, a Dublin-based carrier marked a significant achievement with the operation of a milestone flight on January 24-25, 2025. The flight, routing from Warsaw to Sharm el-Sheikh, Zanzibar (Tanzania), and back to Sharm el-Sheikh before returning to Warsaw, was conducted with Boeing 737-8K5, registration EI-FFD (msn 40944).

In an Linkedin post Fly 4 Airlines CEO & Accountable Manager, Jochen Schnadt stated “Big Shout-out to an incredible Team. This is a proud day for all of us at FLY4 – winning this contract from another new customer, to working closely with the IAA in obtaining the necessary approvals, to implementing this new challenging operation for our new airline to flawlessly executing our first flight today. The flight U55256/5525, was operated on behalf of Skyup MT, a Malta-based subsidiary of SkyUp Airlines, a Ukrainian charter and low-cost carrier. This milestone marks a key moment in Fly4’s operations, further solidifying its position in the ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) sector.
