Dublin based Flexjet International DAC (operating as Flexjet Ireland) on 30 April filed an application with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) seeking an Exemption and a Foreign Air Carrier Permit (FACP). The filing, submitted under docket number DOT-OST-2026-1785-0001, stated FlexJet Ireland intent to conduct passenger and cargo charter operations connecting the European Union, the United States, and other international destinations, to the full extent allowed under the EU-U.S. open skies agreement.

Flexjet International in the filing stated “Requests expedited processing of this application to allow it to begin the proposed services as soon as possible. The authority sought herein will result in increased travel choices, greater service options, and enhanced competition, thereby benefiting consumers in both the United States and the Member States of the European Union.”

Flexjet Ireland operates a single aircraft on its own AOC an Embraer Praetor 600 registered EI-NFX c/n 55020241. The Praetor 600 in typical configuration features 8 passenger and 2 crew seats, with a best-in-class range exceeding 4,000 nautical miles, making it capable of nonstop transatlantic flights, such as routes from Dublin to Boston, London to New York, Manchester to Boston.
