ET-ATG Boeing 787-8 Star Alliance colours 

The first visit of Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner registered ET-ATG to Dublin Airport took place on Monday 22 April in recently painted Star Alliance colours.

The aircraft MSN 38464 test registration N10187 first flight was 3 May 2017 and delivered on 29 June powered by Rolls Royce Trent 1000 engines. The aircraft was originally built for LAN Airlines and subsequently Lion Air but not never taken up.

Ethiopian Airlines operates a fleet of 23 Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft with 19 787-8 and 4 787-9 series aircraft.

The carrier currently operates Addis Ababa-Madrid-Dublin route (ETH712/713) four times weekly (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun) operated by Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.  Routesonline website reported from GDS data from 16 June the airline will switch to the larger capacity 787-9 on the route.
