The first ever flagship Gulfstream G700 visited Ireland touching down in Cork Airport on 11 June, the aircraft registered N673KH msn 87018 making aviation history.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation commenced G700 deliveries on 23 April. The 8 July marked 100 days since the all-new Gulfstream G700 received Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) type certification on 29 March and entry to service (EIS) .

The G700 received additional certifications from European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) type certification along with type certificate validations from eight nations, including Mexico.

The G700 features the most spacious cabin in the industry, with whisper-quiet noise levels, natural light from 20 Panoramic Oval Windows and the industry’s lowest cabin altitude, with 100% fresh, plasma⁠-⁠ionized air replenished every two to three minutes.

The aircraft is powered by Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines , has up to five living areas, can fly 7,750 nautical miles/14,353 kilometres at Mach 0.85 or 6,650 nm/12,316 km at Mach 0.90. The aircraft can operate up to a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.935, the fastest in the Gulfstream fleet. The G700 was recently certified for steep-approach operations by Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), opening access to some of the world’s most challenging airports.

The G700 features the Gulfstream Symmetry Flight Deck with the industry’s first active control sidesticks, dual head-up display, a Data Concentration Network, and the most extensive use of touch-screen technology in business aviation.
