Ethiopian Airlines took delivery of a new Boeing 737-8 MAX on February 28, 2025. The aircraft, registered ET-BBB (MSN 66150), landed at Dublin Airport at 13:29 local time as ETH9201 after a direct flight from Paine Field. It departed Dublin on March 1 at 06:09 local time, direct to Addis Ababa under the same flight callsign, ETH9201.
The aircraft not taken up by Ural Airlines , arrived in an all-white livery, with the rudder and sharklets bearing Ural Airlines’ colors, pending a full repaint by Ethiopian Airlines.
According to Planespotters.net, Ethiopian is set to receive two more aircraft originally intended for Ural Airlines: ET-BBC (MSN 66152) and ET-BBD (MSN 66147).
