Emirates Unveils 2025’s Hottest Summer Getaways, Ireland climbs in searches - IrishAero - Irish Aviation Research Institute

As international travel reaches a fever pitch this summer, Emirates has revealed its top summer destinations for 2025, based on global flight search and booking trends, showing a clear shift toward cultural escapes and lesser-known gems.

Flight searches are up 7% year-on-year, with France topping the list thanks to a 35% surge in interest. Vietnam leads growth trends with a 61% spike in demand, making it this season’s standout, followed closely by Mauritius (+41%) and Sri Lanka (+32%).

Other rising stars include Japan (+28%) and the ever-popular France (+25%), where Emirates is boosting capacity with multiple daily A380 services. Searches are also climbing for Ireland, Canada, Saudi Arabia, and Germany.

Indian travellers are eyeing long-haul trips to Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland, while Australians are targeting Europe, especially France and the UK. German travellers are increasingly drawn to East Asia and the Indian Ocean.
